We take much of this grape from this Suisun Valley, CA hillside vineyard.
Almost heaven… not West Virginia!
September Harvest Social…
This Saturday, 4-6pm.Anxiety is building, especially for me, as we approach the wine making season. Our Harvest Social is this weekend and it is the perfect opportunity to jump start grape stomping season. Refer back to my past mail about the usual COOP social talk about who brings apps, the moochers and our Cajun drummer boy.
Historically, many of you wait until the harvest social to pick up your COOP reserve. There is no problem with that, however, I am at the winery daily after 10:30 if you can do so in advance.
Parking Reminder: Please car pool if possible and always avoid parking in the front of our Olde Depot neighbors doors. FYI: Olde Depot was a train depot until the 50’s. Ammunition was produced on our First Crush Winery location during World War 1. No smoking please!
Still on target for Tuesday early am, September27th. I will send one more update to confirm days before.
A First Crush Funny…
A gorilla walks into a bar, and asks for a glass of wine. The bartender figures the ape doesn’t know and better about wine or prices, and
says, “That’ll be $15.00. By the way, we don’t get many gorillas coming in asking for a glass of wine.” The gorilla says, “At $15.00 a glass, I’m not surprised!
Never whine while drinking our wine,
